Cocked N Loaded is a Cedar Rapids, IA based 80's and 90's blow your hair back, move your soul Rock Cover Band. They bring to life some of your favorite 80's and 90's Rock songs while also playing many songs overlooked by most Rock Cover bands out there today.
We are trying to fill a void by playing songs that have largely been ignored by bands that I've seen at parties, bars, and local festivals says lead singer Zac Cahill. While we do enjoy playing the favorites, we also really get excited playing those songs that people in the crowd don't expect to hear a cover band play and I think our growing fan-base would agree.
Cocked N Loaded tackle songs that weren't necessarily No. 1 hits, but can in no way be referred to as obscure or underground tracks. People are pleasantly surprised by our shows, because we are doing songs that they love and that they have NEVER heard a cover band perform continues Cahill.
A lot of thought goes into our set and it's constantly evolving says Rhythm guitarist Dustin Turkington. Dustin goes on to say Just when you need it, we hit you with that opening guitar riff that everyone knows and loves or Zac will belt out some killer note setting the tone or we'll hit you with a powerhouse ballad that takes you back to those teenage years of lust.
